ABOUT US

Mission

The INCREASE Community Development Corporation (INCREASE CDC) is a faith-based, non-profit corporation devoted to increasing the quality of life in Central Ohio through Education, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.

Mandate

INCREASE CDC's mandate is to establish businesses, develop real estate and control commerce.

To accomplish these goals, we have established programs designed to provide entrepreneurs with the educational, technical and networking opportunities necessary to ensure their future success.

INCREASE CDC offers a full spectrum of services to the target population of Columbus including, but not limited to:

  • Training & Consulting
  • Access to Markets
  • Access to Capital

History

INCREASE Community Development Corporation (INCREASE CDC) began at Columbus Christian Center (CCC) church as the "EnterPrize Group" in November 1992.

Its mission was to develop the members of CCC and the surrounding community through practical instruction on business, financial and personal growth principles.

In October 1999, the EnterPrize Group began the School of Business & Commerce (SBC), an entrepreneurship program developed to teach aspiring entrepreneurs how to develop a fundable business plan over a 26-week period.

The introduction of this program helped transition the organization into a non-profit corporation and in 2000, INCREASE CDC received 501c3 status.
