Cordell E. Dillon is the owner of Precision Mortgage Group, LLC. He is a native of Akron, Ohio but has resided in Columbus since obtaining his Management and Marketing degree from The Ohio State University in 1996.

He has 11 years of experience in the mortgage industry and has just completed his fourth year of ownership. After his first year in the business, Cordell realized that he wanted to become an owner. In 2004, he met with one of his mentors and conveyed that he was ready but was not secure with his funding. She introduced him to her husband and after a twenty minute conversation, her husband blessed him with a check to cover all start up costs as well as three months of operating income. His company’s mission statement is “Trust and Honesty at its Best” where he strives to provide industry leading service and education to all of his clients. Precision Mortgage is in a growth transition in which the company plans to add employees, become licensed in other states, and apply for its FHA license. These additions will allow the company to offer its high quality services to more families in various areas.

Cordell is a member of several service organizations, including Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, Pride of the Hilltop Lodge #110, and Alla Baba Temple #53. He volunteers for the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, Adopt a Highway, and serves dinner to the homeless every 4th Monday at the Faith Mission with his bible study group. Through New Salem Baptist Church and the Key Bank financial literacy program, he utilizes his financial knowledge and experience to educate others about the importance of credit and budgeting.
